Art Central 2021

In consideration of the global situation and response to Covid-19, Art Central has been rescheduled and will now take place from 20 to 23 May 2021, with a VIP Preview on Wednesday 19 May.

Art Basel has announced the dates of its Hong Kong edition will be 21–23 May 2021, with VIP previews on 19 and 20 May. Both Art Central and Art Basel will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) in 2021.

In a move intended to maximise participation of is galleries, programme partners and international visitors, Art Central has shifted its 2021 dates from March to May. “This change in the spring schedule, together with our move to the HKCEC next year, strengthens our position. We are enthusiastic to welcome the gallerists, artists, curators and visitors who enable Art Central’s essential platform for contemporary art to Hong Kong in May 2021” says Corey Barr, Fair Director, Art Central.

Further programme details, including the gallery list for Art Central’s sixth edition, will be announced in 2021.
